Thank you for shopping at OnceWas & we hope you will love your new purchase for many seasons to come. If you find something isn’t quite right, we are happy to offer a return providing you meet our Returns Policy.

Returns Policy:

Extended Holiday Returns Policy: 

To enhance your peace of mind, we're extending our return deadlines. Should you decide to return a purchase, simply initiate the process, and have it in the post before January 5th. This extension applies to all orders placed between December 1st and the 22nd of December. 

International Orders

You have 21 days from date of dispatch to lodge a return. All International Returns are at the expense of the customer. Please email hello@oncewas.com.au to organise a Return Request

To be eligible to return your order:

You have 14 days from date of dispatch to lodge a return.

Items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed, with original packaging and with all original tags attached.

All returns will be a flat fee of $15

All full priced items purchased via credit card, debit card or Paypal are eligible for a full refund, credit note or an exchange*, subject to our returns policy.

Any full priced items purchased with Klarna or Afterpay are eligible for a credit note or an exchange* to the full value of the original purchase, or a refund less 8% service fee (Please email us at hello@oncewas.com.au if you wish to opt for the refund minus the 8% service fee)

All full priced items purchased via Paypal pay in 4 are eligible for a full refund, credit note or an exchange*, subject to our returns policy.

All full priced items purchased using society discounts up to $70 are eligible for a full refund, credit note or an exchange*, subject to our returns policy.

All full priced items purchased using society discounts higher than $70 are only eligible for credit notes* or exchange*.

All items purchased using a “welcome” code or “First time purchase” discount code are eligible for a refund, credit note* or an exchange*, subject to our returns policy.

All full priced items purchased using any other promotional/sale codes other than “First time purchase/welcome” codes (eg YAY10) are only eligible for credit notes* or exchange*, subject to our returns policy.

No returns will be accepted on final sale items unless they are deemed faulty when received.

We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards in quality & all our garments are thoroughly checked prior to dispatch. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault, we will gladly repair the item & if the fault is irreparable, we will replace or refund if a replacement is unavailable, at no cost to you.

Returns to OnceWas are for items bought via our website only. If you have purchased a OnceWas piece from a stockist you will need to contact them directly as each store will have their own Returns Policy/Terms and Conditions

TYPE OF RETURN OUTCOMES

*EXCHANGES: A $15 postage fee will be charged for all exchanges. A return label will be provided once you complete your exchange selection in our Returns Portal. Please post your return back to us within 3 business days. You can opt to have your new item sent out within 24 hours and a holding fee will be placed on your card (Please note that if we do not receive your return back to our warehouse within 14 days the full amount will be charged to your card).
OR you can choose to have the item sent once we receive your return back but please keep in mind that this does not hold your item and there is a possibility we will not have the stock available upon receiving your return. In this case you will be provided with a credit note or refunded to your original payment method subject to our returns policy.

*CREDIT NOTES:  A $15 postage fee will be charged for all credit note returns. A return label will be provided to you once you complete your return request in our returns portal. Please post your return back to us within 3 business days. We will process your return and email you your credit note within 48 hours of receiving your return to our warehouse. Online Credit Notes are valid for 1 year from date of issue.

REFUNDS: A return label will be provided to you once you complete your return request in our returns portal. Please post your return back to us within 3 business days. We will process your return and refund back to your original payment method, within 48 hours of receiving the return back to our warehouse. A return postage fee of $15 will be deducted from your total refund amount.
