Introducing our newest addition, Size 7!

You asked, we listened!

Here at OnceWas, we're always striving to make our collections more inclusive and accessible to all. That's why we're excited to announce that Size 7 is now available. While this might not be breaking news for our loyal customers who have already been enjoying the expanded size options, we're thrilled to share this update as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity.
Last year, we were blown away by the positive response to the addition of Size 6 to our collection. Seeing our pieces sell out within days was a testament to the demand for extended sizes in the fashion industry. We listened closely to your feedback and knew that expanding our size range even further was vital.
By offering a broader range of sizes, we're excited to empower more individuals to express their unique style with confidence, which is my underlying inspiration for OnceWas.
Our dedication to inclusivity goes beyond just adding new sizes. We're also committed to creating designs that can be styled differently to suit all body shapes, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Dresses like our Venus Cotton Silk Dress can be worn in 3 ways; with a belt to bring in your waist (add a different belt to match your shoes for a dressier look), without a belt for a loose fit or open as an overcoat for extra versatility.
My biggest styling tip for all shapes and sizes is to ensure your clothing fits you correctly. I meet so many customers at our Styling Studio wanting the wrong size! Buying online can always be daunting; to help ease the process we provide measurements for every design and size + offer easy returns refunds and instant exchanges.
Another tip I would love to share is that for your next purchase, ensure it will fit into your existing wardrobe. This will guarantee that you wear it and feel inspired to try new styling combinations! My team and I are always happy to hear from our customers and provide styling advice and tips, custom to their preference of style and their concerns. This was the original reason why we started our fortnightly Styling Studio, and we continue to offer our service over the phone, via e-mail or through our social media pages.

It's not always about the design... focus on the fabric too! Opt for high-quality fabrics that drape well and provide comfort. Fabrics like silk/cotton blends, linen viscose blends, and tencel can offer both style and ease of movement. Pay attention to how the fabric feels against your skin and choose options that make you feel confident and comfortable. OnceWas provide exact fabric details and textile blends on each product page.

The final styling tip I would love to share is to encourage experimenting with different silhouettes and proportions. This will help you find what works best for your body shape. For example, balance a flowy top with fitted bottoms or vice versa to create a more balanced and flattering look. This is easy to achieve by purchasing 1 hero design sure as our
Aquila Cotton Silk Self Check Blouse in Black or Florence Cupro Viscose Shirt in Galaxy Print and styling it with fitted pants you already own. Mixing and matching different proportions can add visual interest to your outfit and highlight your personal style.
